The wait is over! This year marks the 25th anniversary of our beloved blue bomber and while everyone else was getting fancy remakes, the future of Mega Man seemed bleak. Fret not maverick hunters, because the awesome fan inspired Street Fighter X Mega Man can be downloaded for FREE directly from the Capcom website here. Holy hadouken! You know how everyone has been ragging on Capcom for not really playing up Mega Man’s 25th anniversary? Apparently, in response to this they are releasing a new 8-bit Mega Man game with Street Fighter characters instead of Robot Masters! Oh and it’s free for PC! Check out the trailer:
While this doesn’t exactly make up for shoddy treatment Mega Man fans have been getting, it’s a huge leap in the right direction.
