In the land of Cliche, there are countless adventurers on epic quests to become heroes, save the princess, slay dragons, banish evil and protect the city. You are not one of those people. You just supply them with weapons. Sounds exciting, right? In a rather strange game of role reversal, it’s Weapon Shop de Omasse for the Nintendo 3DS! Continue Reading
Today we thought we’d shake things up a little bit and dip our toes into the podcast waters. As you’ll probably notice immediately, we’ve never done this before, but come support your X-Bros and ear-peep 20 glorious minutes of our impressions of the Titanfall beta. Continue Reading
It’s always nice to get a little recognition every once in a while. Kind words from random strangers can really boost one’s self esteem. This comic is dedicated to anyone who’s taken the time to write us thoughtful and encouraging messages. It really brightens our day.
Kafka Luck is now in talks with the Westboro Baptist Church to create his own spinoff comic called “It’s a Beautiful Day for God to Punish the Heathens and Rain Hellfire Upon the Filthy Sinners.”
Many people still have an issue with the Kinect. From government surveillance conspiracies to small apartment complaints, the Kinect’s road to success will be a wee bit rocky. I’m a huge supporter and I believe more developers should be experimenting with this technology. Even simple voice commands seem to add another level of immersion to my gaming experiences. Sometimes I feel like a psychopath when I’m sitting home alone talking to my Xbox and then I think, “what if it truly understands me? What if we were meant to be together?” You know, normal stuff life that.
Real life is never quite as entertaining as a video game. Going to court is a great example. There are no loud-mouthed, eccentric lawyers with anime hair, instead there are groups of miserable people with traffic violations uncomfortably watching disgusting burn-outs appear in court for the 25th time.
The creators of Family Guy announced that one of the Griffins would die this season back in July at Comic-Con. The world was shocked when last week’s episode revealed that the beloved family pet, Brian Griffin, was the character to meet his tragic ending. While Family Guy is now a mere shell of what it once was, we can vividly remember a time when it reigned as king of the animated TV world and it was very depressing to witness the death of such a classic character. I think we were all secretly hoping Chris would get the Axe… Seriously, when has he ever been funny?
Next-gen is officially in full effect with the launch of the Xbox One. The “Big Three” have released their new consoles. Sony and Microsoft are obviously more in than the spotlight than Nintendo right now and for good reasons. The Xbox One and PS4 were both welcomed with phenomenal releases and both consoles sold over 1 million units in 24 hours. The Wii U hasn’t even hit 4 million units sold since it’s launch over a year ago… We love Nintendo and wish them the best in all their endeavors, but seeing such massive sales numbers from your is never something investors like to see. If this were a zombie apocalypse, Nintendo would be the weak, vulnerable guy we leave behind to be eaten by the undead.
Halloween is nearly upon us! Chances are you attended some outrageous Halloween party this last weekend and chances are you saw countless drunk people trying to pick up chicks in ridiculous costumes. Halloween is amazing simply because it’s the one special night of the year where you could see Ada Wong hook up with Mario.
Last week we told you the tragic story of the day young Kaffy was kicked in the chest by a man dressed as Yogi Bear. He is tired of living his life in fear. From this day forth he shall no longer fear mascots… and he will know what bear meat tastes like.
