Trails Fusion is the latest in a long list of games to support a lower resolution on the Xbox One than it’s next-gen counterpart. Thankfully, a launch day patch increases the resolution on Microsoft’s new console and narrows the pixel gap.
Originally Trails Fusion ran at 800p on Xbox One and 1080p on PS4. Yesterday’s update pushed the resolution to 900p for Xbox players. There may be differences in resolution, but both versions of the game are running at 60fps and the supported upscaling on the Xbox One will actually display the game in full 1080p.
The difference between 900p and 1080p is fairly minimal, especially considering the lower resolution is being upscaled to 1080p. We recently discussed the resolution differences between the two versions of Trials Fusion, but we’d still like to know how much this matters to you.
