So it was confirmed today via Twitter, that there will be no additional characters announced for Playstation All-Stars: Battle Royale. The PlayStation Blog Senior Social Media Specialist, Sid Shuman wrote “We have revealed the full launch lineup of characters.” At this point it seems like the game will ship with 20 playable characters. We have the full list below. Of course we can all assume more characters will be added via downloadable content.
Jak and Daxter
Sir Daniel Fortesque
PaRappa the Rapper
Ratchet and Clank
Playstation All-Stars: Battle Royale is set for release on November 20th, 2012.
Test your calendar! It’s Friday once again and time to punch boredom in the face with punches… and videos. Who can help us with this? Why none other than, “The Muscles from Brussels” himself, Jean-Claude Van Damme! Behold this Bloodsport/Mortal Kombat mash up, from youtube user, TheVanDammeFan2009:
Next up, is there anything with more fan projects than the Portal series? I have to say this animation from Chelsea Gordon-Ratlaff, might just take the cake (no, I won’t say it. I WON’T!):
Let’s round it things out with a little history lesson, Assassin’s Creed style:
We’ve been playing a wee bit of the Guild Wars 2 lately. There is always so much to do and even more to explore. There are many classic MMO elements incorporated into this game, but it really does a solid job of making itself standout. The active event system is ever-changing and keeps the world exciting. It seems like ever time you revisit an area, there is an event you haven’t participated in. If you’ve been playing we’d love to see out in the battlefield! Oh did I mention we have a guild? That’s right folks, the folks from 343 Industries posted a bunch of new screenshots from the game and have confirmed that the flood will make and appearance. Unfortunately these disfigured icons won’t be appearing in the campaign. The above screenshot is from a multiplayer mode entitled “Flood,” in which two infected players try to spread the disease to all other players. I mean look at those things, that’s a face even a mother couldn’t love. Continue Reading
There are only a couple of months separating our grimy paws from the WIi U and we can’t wait to have at it. Nintendo has promised a solid launch lineup and so far you can look forward to 23 games being released on the launch date, November 18th. The confirmed list is below. Continue Reading
We are incredibly excited for the Wii U. The introduction of a tablet into traditional gameplay will open up many windows of opportunity and could legitimately lead to some groundbreaking titles. That is, as long as folks don’t catch gimmick fever and turn this into another Wii debacle. Over the course of the next couple weeks we will introduce some amazing Wii U games to you guys, that will never see the light of day.
Slender has been taking the internet by storm and the popularity continues to rise. The game is so simple and satisfying in such a primal way. It invokes fear from the moment you see the loading screen. Very few games can maintain this level of infamy. The folks from Parsec Productions are teaming up with Blue Isle Studios, to re-create and redefine the Slender name. Continue Reading
As many of you may know, the city of Tokyo has been overrun by a game show. Not as exciting as Godzilla, but we’re doing a special Friday Fun for it. First up, Sony Smash Bros…. er I mean Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale:
I do have to say, I’m looking forward to the Helghast wrecking up Loco Roco and Parappa the Rapper. Nintendo still has them beat though, check out this sweet trailer for Tekken: Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition:
Yes, you just saw Nintendo cosplay in a Tekken game. But what joy is there for 360 owners? Nothing, but this Halo 4 trailer out featuring weapons! Continue Reading
Realms of Ancient War, also known as R.A.W., released yesterday on the XBLA and it is one of the worst games I have ever seen. Let me reiterate, DO NOT BUY this game. Remember the flop from last year, D&D Daggerdale? I honestly would rather 100% that game then spend one more minute with Realms of Ancient War. “Come on, it can’t be that bad,” you say. Oh, get a load of this… Continue Reading
